Coaching on Fear
Do you sometimes feel stuck, paralyzed, unable to make a decision, struggling through dilemmas or mentally frozen? Are you overcome with anxiety or fear?
Try to define what the fear is really about, and whether the anxiety is rooted in a particular concrete situation, or mostly in something intangible that you find hard to describe. Coach yourself by giving words to your feelings and frustrations, as sometimes, by verbalizing, the very expression is already the beginning of a positive and constructive process towards a resolution.
Define the blocks: are they real, or are they in fact, the fruits of your imagination and results of your anxiety? Are your own beliefs limited or fear-driven? Will you derive any benefits from not resolving the situation? What’s the risk?
Try to think or visualize what barriers stand between your struggle and your solution, and see how you can construct a plan to reduce them, free yourself from limiting bonds, circumvent the obstacles, overcome the fear, and take a risk to zap the paralysis or reduce the anxiety. Think creatively and intuitively. Play with best and worst case scenarios.
If you feel too confused, contact us. We can help you simplify the situation and make sense of it. You will feel empowered and confident, and your agenda will be supported by a coaching professional on whom you can count.
